    Discover the ultimate gaming and dining experience at Queen & Rook in Philadelphia! Boasting the largest board game library in the region with over 2,500 games, Queen & Rook offers something for everyone, from casual gamers to serious enthusiasts. Enjoy delicious meals like Margherita pizzas, kimchi burgers and hand cut fries, alongside a full bar serving draft beers, wines, and fun cocktails. Our recent expansion includes a retro video game arcade and wood-fired pizza, perfect for hosting events, parties, and corporate gatherings. Join us for a unique, fun experience that brings people together over food and games​, come once and you’ll make it a weekly appointment. 

    To play board games it’s $7 per person for the 2.5 hour reservation time to play as many games as you want and also get help from our expert Gamekeepers.  The arcade games are $15 for adults for the first hour and $10 for kids under 13 for the first hour.  Subsequent hours are discounted.  Food and drinks are available in the arcade as well as the other two floors.  You can play while you eat and drink.

    We are currently offering food and drinks for take-out or delivery, as well as full service indoor seating 7 days a week.

    Tuesday 5ppm to 10pm

    Wednesday 5pm to 10pm

    Thursday 5pm to 10pm

    Friday 12 pm to 12am

    Saturday 12pm to 12am

    Sunday 12pm to 9pm.

    Our many retail games and puzzles are available for in-store browsing during any of our operating hours. You can also browse and purchase online for pick up, local delivery, or nationwide shipping.

    Queen & Rook is located at 123 South Street in Philadelphia, between Front and 2nd Streets.

    • By Subway: We’re about a 20 minute walk from the 2nd Street stop on the SEPTA Market-Frankford Line
    • By Bus: The #40 bus stops at 2nd and South Streets; the #57 bus stops at 3rd and South Streets
